Colorado River District presents in partnership with Ruth Powell Hutchins Water Center, The Grand Valley: State of the River

Join local experts for a night of discussion around major western water issues, and a spotlight for the projects and priorities of each local community. This event will provide a free light dinner!

Water Course 101: Understanding Water in a World of Climate Extremes

Ruth Powell Hutchins Water Center, Colorado Mesa University

This course is a free two-evening professional seminar designed to strengthen foundational knowledge across key areas of the water sector, including water law, hydrology, water quality, and best practices in water management. Each session is led by experienced practitioners and subject matter experts with deep regional and technical expertise within the Colorado River Basin.

This includes a free complementary dinner and free (no pass required) parking in lot CP9
